Job Description:

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for all accounting, tax, treasury and external financial reporting. Specific responsibilities will include: • Day to day leadership, management and development of the Controller's staff. • External SEC reporting for the corporation. • Insuring that appropriate policies, procedures and controls are in place and up to date. • Cash and asset management. • Support of the Chief Financial Officer, with investor relations and other external financial matters and relationships. • Close and regular interaction with business unit managers and other key executives to provide information and analysis to enhance operational performance. • Maintaining an orientation throughout the entire organization to optimize the economic and financial performance of the corporation. • Insuring that the company adheres to current and future technical accounting and public company reporting requirements. • The continuing infusion of professionalism and discipline regarding financial policies and control matters throughout the corporation. • Oversee tax compliance and planning.
Qualifications: A solid grounding in accounting and public company reporting within the high technology sector as well as strong planning and budgeting expertise. BS Accounting/Finance, CPA required, MBA preferred, with 10 to 15 years ofexperience.
• Proven experience with public company reporting, audit firm interaction and audit committee.
• Exposure to tax and treasury functions.
• Experience in addressing and updating accounting policies, procedures and controls.
• Prior experience with revenue recognition, familiarity with hardware/software/systems integration business models.
• Prior involvement with M&A
• Solid level of energy and a hands on style with the ability to personally dig in to all functional areas as necessary.

• Professional and outgoing personal presence with clear leadership qualities.
• A keen business focus with the ability to quickly understand key metrics and business drivers, coupled with the ability to assist other executives with their use.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Defense Industry experience preferred.
Background check required. This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration regulations (EAR).
